Meet the Founder
Hi, I am Mandy Carpenter LLB MICB PM.Dip, and I am the owner of Hurst Bookkeeping and Business Services. I am qualified with ICB and am also a Xero Certified Advisor. According to my family and friends, I am one of the most organised people in the world, a person of lists, and a walking, talking calendar – exactly what you need to keep your books in order, and submit your returns on time!
As a bookkeeper it is vital that you are honest, trustworthy, and have integrity, which are values that I pride myself on. Prior to becoming a bookkeeper and payroll manager I was a property lawyer. My favourite part of my work as a lawyer was calculating figures on completion of house sales and purchases and making sure that the ledgers were in order. It seemed that requalifying as a bookkeeper, where figures have to add up, was a natural progression.
In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, cycling, forest walks, and visits to the beach. I am also learning to play the saxophone and recently walked 28 miles of the Purbeck coast for my wedding anniversary.
